I dreamt me and Yu Lee were on a camp site. It wasn't necessarily a camp site with tents: it might have been caravans or some other kind of accommodation. I saw lots of people but never actually saw where we were sleeping.

It was lovely and sunny and we were outside, but then we decided that we needed to go and clean our teeth and use the toilet ready for bed. We split up so that Yu Lee could go to the lady's and I could go to the gent's.

When I go to the toilets, there was a very low and narrow tiled corridor that I had to duck through and walk along bent over to avoid touching the ceiling. When I did get in there I opened my bag to get my toothbrush out I realised that I didn't have the things I needed, but I had Yu Lee's stuff instead. I left the toilet block and went back outside.

At some point, as I walking back through the outside area, I stopped and put my bag on the floor and was rummaging through it. As I was doing so, a woman sitting on the ground near me was talking to her boyfriend, and said something about how "the DVD was not going to make her lucid." Hearing the word "lucid" immediately caught my attention and I looked at her, and she noticed. I said something to her which made it clear that I knew about lucid dreaming.

"He bought me a dirty DVD and thinks that if I watch it it's going to increase my lucidity" she said to me.

I said something like "A dirty DVD's not going to help with your lucid dreaming, it doesn't work like that, does it?"

After that I continued whatever I was doing in my rucksack, and then walked off. As I did so I heard the woman explaining to someone that "a lucid dream is a dream where you know you're dreaming, and you can control it and do whatever you want..."

On my way back to the main part of the camp site I had to walk down a narrow path. There were people all around walking extremely slowly which was frustrating me. I got to a point where there were three Muslim girls wearing burkas in front of me, and they were walking slowly, and spaced out just enough that I couldn't walk between them. There were 2 girls next to and slightly behind them walking along with hula hoops.

I realised that the path was narrowing and this was my only chance to over take, so I tried to run round the lot of them to get past. As I did this, all five of them got annoyed at me and took it as some kind of personal insult, and one of the girls with the hula hoops put her hoop around me to stop me from running away. They all started to have a go at me when the dream faded and I woke up.

I only remember a few bits and pieces from this dream.

In one part of my dream, we were at a house party. I think it was Mike's house (Mike is from my school) because I seem to remember his mum telling me not to turn the heating up. Mike wasn't in the dream however.

I remember that it was the evening and everyone was starting to go to sleep. There were people laying around everywhere, either sleeping or talking quietly, and it was getting really hot so I turned the temperature down on the thermostat.

A while later, the heating was making weird noises. I moved close to an air vent and there was cold air coming out of it. I realised that there were two heating systems in the house, and one of them was heating the air while the other one was cooling it.

I turned off the heating and the noise stopped.

The other bits of the dream that I remember were extremely vague and I don't remember the order of them. The theme of the dream was still a party, but this time it was in a hall instead of someone's house and there were a lot of people there.

At one point, I was walking around with Yu Lee and she realised she hadn't taken her antihistamine. There was a long queue of people queuing up for something, and she walked up and joined the queue near the front. I told her she shouldn't push in, but she said it was ok as she was only getting her antihistamine.

In another part of the dream, I arrived at a table where Yu Lee and her sister were sitting. When I got there Yu Lee said that they'd made a special cake for me, and that it was made out of truffles (the chocolate kind, not the mushroom). I told them that I wasn't going to eat cake on an empty stomach, and that I needed to eat my dinner first, which made them look a bit disappointed.

I was sitting with my dad and two other people, probably Yu Lee and Sue. We were out somewhere (in England) having something to eat. I got the feeling that we'd finished eating, and had to go somewhere else for some reason, possibly to see a show. We were going to have another drink before we left.

Me and Dad ordered a pint each and the others didn't order anything. We definitely both had our drinks but then there was a problem with them so Dad ended up tipping them away.

We went to pay the bill but everyone had gone home. We looked on the board and it was 5 minutes after opening, and Dad said something like "That's why they were in such a rush." Dad then went over to the till, opened it and paid the bill, and said "¡Gracias!" as he put the money in the till.

The other thing I vaguely remember was right at the end of the dream and was something about my shoes. Someone said that my shoes were nice, and then started to say "Do you remember when we first met?" and said that it was something to do with my shoes.

At some point in the dream there is a scene of a prison break. I have no idea of how this relates to the main narrative, and to be honest I may not have actually dreamt this part, but I had a memory of it during the rest of my dream.

The rest of the dream is about me and Yu Lee in a survival situation. There is a large area that is infested with zombies, and we are hiding out in a derelict house. The problem is that we have run out of supplies, and everything that we need is in the zombie infected area. I don't remember actually seeing any zombies, but we knew they were there.

From time to time Yu Lee decides that she needs to run off and get some supplies. One thing that she keeps doing is going to get the password for something, and I'm annoyed because I remember the password, but she just quickly runs off before I can say anything.

Each time that she goes I feel very scared and alone, and I'm really worried for her. I repeat over and over in my head "please come back" the whole time that she is gone.

At some point a little later in the dream, we need to go into the zombie area and get some kind of chord, and bring it back to the house. It's like an electricity cable that we need to plug in to give power to the ruins. Yu Lee returns with the chord, but the problem is that it's connected to something far from the house where the zombies are. I tell her the zombies could easily follow the chord back to us and find us.

I grab hold of the chord and give it a gentle tug. I tell Yu Lee that I can feel by the resistance on it that a zombie is holding onto it and that it's only a matter of time before they find us!

For some reason, Yu Lee decides that we need to cook some peas. She hands me a bag of frozen peas and a saucepan, and then says she's going back into the zombie area to get some water. I tell her that I don't need water to cook the peas but she's gone already.

I turn to the stove, and it is an electric stove with metal heating elements for each ring. Some of the heating elements are missing entirely, and the one I want to use is intact, but the middle section is missing, meaning there is a hole in the centre which is just bigger than the base of the pan.

I'm trying to work out how to cook the peas on the strange, broken hob when Yu Lee appears outside in the distance, looking distressed and running away from something. I look behind her in the distance and sure enough there is a figure running in her direction.

Yu Lee hides behind some rocks, but the figure advances and I can't tell if he's seen her or not. Then more figures appear and there is a group of them. I start to think that they are not moving like zombies, and Yu Lee seems to notice something at the same time. All of a sudden she stands up a beckons for me to come to her.

The group of zombies get closer, and now I can see that they are not zombies at all. I suddenly realise that they are escaped prisoners running away from jail, and I realise that Yu Lee has decided to run away with the prisoners. It looks like we have an escape plan!

At this point I woke up in my bed at 2:00am.

I dreamt that we were in a garden somewhere. There seemed to be a mix of mine and Yu Lee's families there.

When we were in the garden, I heard someone talking about the divorce. I asked who was getting divorced and they said "Shaolin and Ray - they've been trying to do it for a couple of years."

The main thing I remember thinking was that it was weird because they still seemed to be very much together and spent time together. The conversation went on to suggest that they were actually still happy but there was some other kind of reason that they were doing it. It didn't make much sense.

I was in the garden talking to Ray's dad, who was totally different to real life and seemed a bit like Mr. Miyagi from Karate Kid. We were chatting for a while and he was talking about how he wanted to go an stay at Shaolin and Ray's holiday home in Spain (which doesn't exist in real life).

I told him that I had to go inside to talk to my dad, and he got up and came in too. He said dinner was ready and Yu Lee came inside to eat as well.

When we got inside I asked Yu Lee what was for dinner and she told me, and she named some weird Chinese thing. I told her that it sounded spicy, and if it was too spicy she shouldn't eat it.

We were at the table at this point waiting to eat, and I said "You know you always try to eat food that is too spicy for you because you don't want to say anything. You know it hurts your stomach and makes you feel sick, so if you don't say something I'm going to come over there and throw it off your plate and onto the floor!"

As I said that I made a karate chop gesture.

I don't remember a huge amount of detail about this dream.

Me and Yu Lee were in a shop, and I wanted to buy a single rectangular label to stick on something. I asked one of the girls that worked there if they had any but they didn't. I told her that I really needed one and in the end she said she would go out the back and look for one, and she might have one I could have for free.

In the meantime, Yu Lee was talking to another sales assistant, looking for something else, and she couldn't find it either. When I told her that the girl I was talking to was going to find me something out the back, she asked the sales assistant she was talking to if she could find something, and she also agreed.

A while later I had my label and Yu Lee had whatever she was looking for, and we were about to leave. I said to Yu Lee that I was going to thank the girl that helped me, and Yu Lee said she would do the same to the girl that helped her. I was annoyed that every time I did something Yu Lee seemed to copy me.

When I woke up this morning, I was dreaming about visiting my Spanish friend, Estefanía, in Lanzarote. The stupid thing is that she is not even from Lanzarote: she is from Tenerife. She is also living in England.

I went to Lanzarote with Yu Lee, and I'm pretty sure there was at least on other person travelling with us, possibly my brother, Bob. When we got there we waited for Estefanía and it was raining. I remember thinking "Every time I come to Lanzarote it rains" which is not true as I've been there once (as an adult) and it was sunny the whole time.

When we met Estefanía she took us to her parents' house, but then she had to go an do something so she left us there. In the meantime her mum and brothers arrived at the house. I went to the hallway to greet them.

"Hola."

Her mum looked at me and smiled and replied "Hola."

Then I came back into the living room, and her brothers came in too. There were loads of them and they were all very young.

"Hola." I said again, this time her youngest brother replied in perfect English.

"Hi. We don't really speak Spanish, we prefer to speak English."

"¿Por qué?" I asked. "Why?"

"Porque (because) it's a more useful language than Spanish." (or words to that effect)

Later Estefanía arrived and I went outside with her, and we were alone in the garden. I told her (in Spanish) that I thought it was strange that her brothers didn't speak any Spanish.

That's the last thing I remember before waking up.

Another weird thing about this dream is that the island didn't look at all like Lanzarote: it was green and forested, with English style buildings and no mountains anywhere.

I dreamt that a foreign guy was with us. I had no idea where he was from and I'm not 100% sure why he was with us, but I had a vague idea that there was some kind of event on, like the Olympics, and we had been enrolled to take him out to welcome him to England. All we had to do was to take him to a nice restaurant.

Looking at the guy it was difficult to tell if he was European or Asian: he kind of looked half way in between. He didn't really speak English and had a thick accent that was very similar at times to a Spanish accent. As he didn't speak the same language as us he obviously didn't speak much, but he did say a few words, and a couple of times when he had to say something with a number in it he would write the number out on a piece of paper and show it to us whilst saying it very slowly. Every time he showed us the numbers they looked as if they'd been typed.

We had pork knuckle as the starter, and I don't remember the main course but we also had a bottle of wine. When it was time to go the waiter gave him the bill and he wrote the total on a bit of paper, which he held up to show us and once again it looked like it had been typed.

"Nine-thousand two-hundred and fifty-four euros" he said looking a little bit unsure.

The bit of paper said £410 on it, so I said very slowly and clearly "No, it's four-hundred and ten pounds."

He repeated it to me, correctly this time, and I asked Yu Lee how it could possibly cost so much. She told me to add it up, so I did it out loud:

"One-hundred for the pork knuckle; one-hundred for the wine; two-hundred for the main course. Ok, that does seem right."

We paid the bill and the foreign guy stayed there looking nervous. As I'd thought his accent seemed a bit Spanish I asked him "¿Hablas Español?"

He looked at me blankly and told me that he didn't understand. Then I asked him where he was from and he said some country that I'd never heard of. I didn't want to make him repeat himself as he was finding it hard to speak English so I made out like I understood.

A recurring theme in this dream, especially in the parts I don't remember well enough to write down was architecture. I'm pretty sure the first part had something to do with my house, and possibly with getting work done on the house, or wanting to get work done on it.

I'm at home with Yu Lee, except our house is totally different and is in Spain. I was in the garden, and I'm pretty sure we were looking at barbecues at some point. As part of some research for something I'm watching Hollyoaks or something similar on my laptop in the garden.

With about 5 minutes to go my dad and step-mum arrive in their car and park in our garden (which is very similar to my dad's garden and goes right around the house, containing the drive). As I don't want to be ridiculed I quickly close off my tv program.

We are in the garden for a while and I talk to my dad about barbecues and tell him I want a new one. I show him some pictures on the laptop and ask him what he thinks of 'outdoor kitchens' with built in sinks.

The discussion moves on to dinner, and my step-mum says "We were going to go out to a nice little place just outside of Torrevieja, but we can't take the car that far so we'll need to go somewhere in walking distance." I ask why we can't drive and she goes on to explain that she's selling her car, and she's just had the odometer rolled back to 3000 miles and can't let it go too far over when she sells it. I remember thinking you'd never get away with that in England.

"I can drive" I reply, "or more precisely I can drive us there and Yu Lee can drive us back because I'll be drunk!"

Yu Lee told me she had a fungal infection, and I don't remember if it was in her mouth or between her toes, but it was definitely one of those. She showed it to me and it was a little white fuzzy ball.

She pulled it out with her fingers, and I asked if she was going to put it in her pocket. She told me that if she put it in her pocket it would continue to grow for a couple of days, and I said "Like a ballistomycete?" which is a mushroom enemy in Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup. Now that I'm awake I have no idea why I made that comparison as a ballistomycete is a giant mushroom and what she had was a tiny fuzzy white ball of fluff!

The next thing I remember was being outside with several people, two of which were my Mum and my mate Brad from school. We were all waiting for the barbecue to heat up, and several of us were smoking. My mum asked Brad if she could have some of his cigarette and he said yes and handed it to her. She had a couple of puffs on it and then it was finished.

A couple of seconds later Brad said "Oh shit that was a spliff!" but then he told me that it probably didn't matter because it was only the end of it and it was probably all tobacco at the bottom. Mum did seem a little bit jolly but I put it down to the red wine she was drinking.
