In the first part of my dream, I had a load of people in the house and I was making miso soup for them. The miso soup came with some bits to put in the soup, but when I cut one of them in half I realised they were actually sweets and decided to leave them out.

I had some shitake mushrooms that I wanted to add to the soup, so I put them on a chopping board and tried to cut them up into thin strips. When I tried to pull them apart I realised that the knife couldn't cut all of the way through them and they were all stuck together and really tough. By this point my soup was bubbling away and I was getting stressed because nothing was working.

In the second part of my dream I was running a race, like a 10k or something. There were loads of us running, and no one was taking it that seriously. For some reason I got told off for talking to people and they made me start again from the beginning.

This time I ran really fast, past all of the people that were taking it easy, and eventually caught up with the more serious racers at the front of the group. As I was near the front I decided to go for it, and in the end I finished in 10th place.

After the race they made the first batch of people who finished sit down on the grass in the order that they finished the race. I looked up and Ray (Yu Lee's brother in law) was 5th. I remember thinking I did pretty well to finish nearly as fast as he did.

I dreamt that we were in a garden somewhere. There seemed to be a mix of mine and Yu Lee's families there.

When we were in the garden, I heard someone talking about the divorce. I asked who was getting divorced and they said "Shaolin and Ray - they've been trying to do it for a couple of years."

The main thing I remember thinking was that it was weird because they still seemed to be very much together and spent time together. The conversation went on to suggest that they were actually still happy but there was some other kind of reason that they were doing it. It didn't make much sense.

I was in the garden talking to Ray's dad, who was totally different to real life and seemed a bit like Mr. Miyagi from Karate Kid. We were chatting for a while and he was talking about how he wanted to go an stay at Shaolin and Ray's holiday home in Spain (which doesn't exist in real life).

I told him that I had to go inside to talk to my dad, and he got up and came in too. He said dinner was ready and Yu Lee came inside to eat as well.

When we got inside I asked Yu Lee what was for dinner and she told me, and she named some weird Chinese thing. I told her that it sounded spicy, and if it was too spicy she shouldn't eat it.

We were at the table at this point waiting to eat, and I said "You know you always try to eat food that is too spicy for you because you don't want to say anything. You know it hurts your stomach and makes you feel sick, so if you don't say something I'm going to come over there and throw it off your plate and onto the floor!"

As I said that I made a karate chop gesture.

Me and Yu Lee were in Spain on holiday and her sister was going to visit with her husband. We were going to walk from our hotel to Madrid to eat something.

When they got to us they had a baby with them and it was sick so we had to drive to Addenbrooke's Hospital (which is in Cambridge) and it was a lovely old red brick Victorian building (unlike real life). On the way there we saw a man with someone bent over a car hitting them, and it turned out to be a woman he was beating up. I shouted at him and he ran and jumped on the back of our car which was a convertible. I punched him in the face a few times and he fell off, then immediately started vomiting on the floor. His friend came and followed us into the hospital and the nurse told him off for being drunk.
