Yesterday when I got in and saw what the builders had done with my patio I was not particularly happy! To cut a long story short, my lovely sandstone patio had somehow ended up being a large patch of slate gravel!

I came back home with Estefanía so that she could pick up some things that I was storing for her since her house move, then we dropped her home, went to Tesco, ate dinner and spent the whole of the rest of the evening talking about the patio.

When I went to bed it was still on my mind and it took me 25 minutes to fall asleep. Then I woke up after an hour and a half and couldn't get back to sleep straight away.

This morning I woke up at 7:30am from a dream. We had to go to see the wedding venue at 8:30am so it was a bit of a rush...

Today I had to have a quick nap as I was due to see Estefanía in the afternoon for lunch. I napped upstairs on top of our bed, put in my ear plugs and set multiple alarms.

I slept lightly and woke up naturally 5 minutes before the alarm was due to go off.

Last night it took me about half an hour to fall asleep. I went to bed a little while before I was ready to because Yu Lee wanted me to come to bed.

When I did fall asleep, I slept through until 5:00am when I woke up naturally. I thought about getting up, but obviously decided not to because the next thing I knew it was 5:30am and I'd just woken up again. I still could have slept for longer but decided to get up this time.

We've got builders in at the moment laying a patio in the garden, so I told them that I was going to 'disappear' for a couple of hours, and then went upstairs and napped in my bed with ear plugs in.

I fell asleep quickly, and woke from a dream about 1.5 hours later. Just after I got up they started knocking out some concrete at the side of our house, so I guess it was good timing!

Last night we went to bed around 11:30pm. As usual, I had a period of light sleep at the beginning and was sleeping deeply within an hour.

I don't remember any dreams, or any awakenings in the night. When I got out of bed I felt like I'd been laying in bed for a little while.

I feel like I've had plenty (but not too much) sleep this morning.

I felt a little sleepy this morning after getting up so early, and at about 11:30am I decided to go for my nap. I fell asleep relatively quickly, although I did hear Yu Lee doing something in the kitchen which caused me to stir a bit at the beginning of my nap.

I slept through until about 1:30pm, then I went back to sleep again and finally got up after a total of 2.5 hours. This was a nice nap!

We went to bed relatively early last night, and I didn't fell particularly tired. I think I dozed for a while, and fell asleep properly after midnight.

I woke up from a dream at 2:00am, and then got up to go to the toilet. I felt a little uneasy as I'd just been dreaming about zombies and the house seemed very dark and quiet.

When I went back to the bedroom I took a few notes on my zombie dream.

I went back to sleep and slept through to another dream at 5:00am. I laid in bed for a while, and Yu Lee cuddled up to me so I laid there longer than usual. Then I started to fall asleep again so decided to get up before I fell asleep properly.

This morning we re-felted the shed roof, and after that sat outside and had lunch. The weather was lovely and it is forecast to be crappy all of next week, so I decided to sit outside and have a few beers while Yu Lee practised with her hula-hoop.

I came back inside at about 4:00pm and fell asleep on the sofa, and woke up less than 1.5 hours later. This was a nice little nap on a lovely Sunday afternoon.

Well, it looks like what I was worried would happen is happening. I'm not using the alarm, and it's lovely to wake up naturally, but my waking time is definitely slipping back. If it carries on like this I will have to go back to the alarm, otherwise my sleeping pattern will shift completely.

I went to bed around midnight last night and fell asleep quickly. I don't remember waking in the night at all, and woke naturally from a dream this morning at around 7:00am.

I feel like I've slept too long and my head feels kind of fuzzy. When I woke up I had Rhayader by Camel stuck in my head.

I went for my sleep in the back room, after lunch, and I fell asleep in about 5 minutes. I woke up at about 2:00pm to some noises coming from outside (it sounded like an electric saw), but then I went back to sleep and woke up naturally from a dream after a total of 1.5 hours.

I felt a little bit grouchy yesterday afternoon, which normally means I'm tired, but after dinner I perked up a bit and was fine.

I went to bed around 11:30pm, and I'm not sure how long it took me to fall asleep. I definitely looked at the clock at 12:30am, but I remember thinking that it didn't feel like I'd been there that long so I must have been asleep already.

This morning I woke up and looked at the clock at 4:50am, but then I went back to sleep for another hour. I woke from a dream just before 6:00am, and now I feel like I've had a little too much sleep.

This time I fell asleep in about 10 minutes, and there was no annoying delivery guy to wake me up and rob me of my nap!

I had a nice nap on my sofa and woke up after about 1.5 hours.

...and as usual that's completely killed any chance of going to sleep for a while.

I was just drifting off to sleep when the door bell rang with a parcel for Yu Lee...

Last night I went to the beer festival with Carlos (from WorldPay). We got there at 7:00pm and left around 10:00pm. We had a good chat, I got a chance to practice my Spanish, and it was really good to see him.

I got back home and chatted with Yu Lee and drank plenty of Red Bush and water and went to bed.

I woke up several times in the night, and one time I could remember a dream but I had already woken up a couple of times and couldn't be bothered to write it down. It was Yu Lee talking in her sleep that woke me up. She sounded a bit distressed and started with "Oh no, look at ???", but then went on to talk about mangos so it can't have been that bad!

I think I'd woken up twice by 2:30am when I got up to use the bathroom, then woke up to Yu Lee's weird sleep talking, then woke up again around 4:10am, and finally woke up at 5:40am and got up.

After sleeping in late this morning, I wasn't really thinking that I would have a nap today, but around 1:00pm I felt sleepy and had a nice nap on the sofa.
