A lot of stuff happened in this dream, but I really only remember bits and pieces.

Baby

I was somewhere that I'd been lots of times before, where there were two babies. I knew the older one and had interacted with her a lot of times before, but had never really seen the younger one because she had been born very recently.

I picked the older one up and put her on my lap, as I'd done lots of times in the past, and then she started really crying. I then realised it was the younger one that didn't know me and tried to make friends with her. After messing around for a few minutes I managed to get her to stop crying.

Locked Out

I was in my house with someone else, and when we left I accidentally locked myself out. The outside of the house looked like my nan's house in Cookham (my nan on my dad's side). I distinctly remember the moment that the door shut and I instantly thought "Oh no my keys are inside!"

We were trying to figure out how to get back inside, trying to remember where the spare keys were, when suddenly the house was unlocked again. I asked who unlocked it and the other person with me said that it was the postman, and that postmen always carry spare keys to the houses that they deliver to.

Other Misc. Fragments

I remember being on some kind of ride or vehicle, with multiple tracks next to each other. There was some kind of problem and the carts were stopped and I helped resolve it.

I also remember being at a dinner with lots of my family, and my nan (on my mum's side) was there. I remember thinking that she looked old, and didn't look like my nan at all!

Me, Yu Lee and a couple of other people are sitting outside at a table. We are on a patio which has a roof over it, suspended by two metal girders which act as pillars at one end, and the house at the other end. It is a pleasant evening, and I think we are in another country.

We're sitting there talking and drinking and playing some kind of board / card game, when all of a sudden a volcano erupts on the horizon. It's quite far away, and all we can see is a massive column of smoke rising from the volcano. We comment that it might disrupt our flights the following day.

We continue with our game for a while, and the next thing I remember is looking up at another volcano erupting somewhere else on the horizon. This one is a bit closer, and is much more stunning to look at.

I tell Yu Lee to look at it just as it erupts, and from this far away you can clearly see several massive lumps of burning rock being ejected from the crater. The rocks are roughly spherical, and they are black with glowing yellow cracks.

As we watch, more and more rocks come out of the volcano, until all of a sudden a cluster of rocks come flying in our direction with one rock landing on either side of the house (but quite some distance away) and tumbling past us. I start to get scared as I realise how close they are coming, but stay and watch anyway.

The next eruption sends lots of smallish spherical rocks overhead, and a large cone shaped rock lands on its side in front of the house. It rolls towards us at great speed, and I suddenly realise it is going to crash into us. As it gets close I brace for the impact, and in the end the tip of the cone shaped part of the rock just touches the pillar holding up our roof, and by this time the rock isn't moving very quickly so it just stops.

After that the volcano blows out a massive cloud of stones, each about the size of a tennis ball, high into the sky. There must be thousands of stones this time, and it's obvious that they're going to rain down on us. We get up and run around the back of the building, but we're too late and the stones start coming down before we get there.

It feels like some kind of attack, with hundreds of impacts happening all around us.

The excitement gets the better of me and I wake up.

I don't remember a lot of details about this dream, but we were flying through space in some kind of space ship. When we arrived at our destination, I remember commenting that this was the first time that we'd been this far from home, and was the first time when we couldn't just get straight back home without any effort.

The other thing I remember is that there was a yellow flashing light outside the spaceship window. I was just about to investigate the light when I woke up.

I dreamt that me and Yu Lee had just moved house, and the house that we'd moved into definitely had some things in common with this house, but some of the things were totally different. The downstairs hallway was the same as our current house with the same wooden floors, but upstairs was slightly different. There were two identical bedrooms with cream carpets and magnolia walls, with a low, sloped ceiling on one side of the room and a really wide shelf going all of the way along the shortest end of the room.

Ai Seng was staying with us, and we'd decided that we'd lived in the house for a while now and that it was about time we started making it our own. We were going to go and unpack some things to put on the shelf in our room to make it look a bit less 'magnolia'.

I headed downstairs to fetch one of the boxes, and when I got to the bottom of the stairs I couldn't believe my eyes: the hallway was completely flooded with brown, murky water. I knew it had been raining, but I never realised it had been raining that much.

I waded through the water into the kitchen and got a two-pint plastic jug to start bailing the water out. As I waded back towards the front door Ai Seng was telling me to be careful that the water didn't overflow my shoes, but it was already above my ankles at that point.

When I opened the front door (there was no porch in my dream), the driveway and street was wet but not flooded, and the sun had come out. I was just about to dip the jug into the water when my alarm went off and woke me up.

I dreamt that I was living back at York Avenue, and I was going on a road trip with Yu Lee, my ex-girlfriend Lauryn and a guy called Mark who I think was her current boyfriend. I only remember one part of the dream.

I'm downstairs, talking to my mum, and I suddenly realise that it's gone past 10:00am and it's still dark. I comment about it to my mum and she says that it's winter now and the days are getting shorter, and I can't believe how quickly it's gone from having so many hours of daylight in the summer to just four hours of daylight in the winter.

Mark is asleep in the loft-conversion, so I go to the bottom of the ladder and start shouting for him to wake up. I tell him he needs to get up because it is getting light, and we need to go before it gets dark again!

This is all I remember

I dreamt that it was mine and Yu Lee's last day of work, on the same day. I don't remember a huge amount of detail about this dream, but I remember telling her to leave when she runs out of things to do, and I also remember sweeping the floors in my work for some reason.

I dreamt that I lived near a school. In one of the rooms of my house, I had a red sofa, and next to the arm of the sofa was a big square window overlooking the school playground. I had 4 water pistols loaded up and leaning on the edge of arm of the sofa, so that I could lay on the sofa and shoot the children out of the window.

When the children came out I started shooting them, and they would look up at me and run off. One time I shot a load of water really high into the sky, then I shouted "look up!" at the children. They looked up just in time for the water to come splashing down on their faces!

I dreamt that I was a lot younger than I am now, and me and "my girlfriend", and I say it like that because I'm not sure if it was Yu Lee or my ex-girlfriend Lauryn (or a mixture of them both) were on some kind of summer camp. We were in a large building, and at the first part of the dream that I remember we were 3 or 4 floors up in a large canteen getting some lunch. I was queuing up when "my girlfriend" called me over.

I went over to her and she peeled down the corner of her t-shirt, and showed me a mole on the side of her breast. She said she couldn't remember having a mole quite like that before and was going to get it checked out. The mole was the same width as a normal mole, but about 5 times longer, and looked kind of like a brown crayon line on the side of her breast.

She went upstairs to the nurse and I continued eating.

A while later, someone told me that my girlfriend was looking for me and I went upstairs to meet her. It turned out to be nothing.

I remember very little of this dream, but I was staying at my mum's house and it was very late at night. The house was totally different to her house in real life, and seemed more like a palace than a house.

We were sitting downstairs and my mum was looking very tired. I told her that she didn't need to stay up for my benefit, but she said that she wanted to stay up.

The only other thing I remember was going to Cambridge city centre in the middle of the night. When I got there I saw a girl walking past and approached her and asked her for the time. She was very pretty, but looked like she had been crying, and I somehow knew that she was a prostitute.

The girl just looked at me before she walked off. I said "good night" to her as she walked away.

First of all, I'm pretty sure I had a false awakening in my dream at some point because I remember waking up, looking at the clock, seeing that it was 6:40am and recording the end of my sleep.

When I woke up after my dream, I went to edit the sleep and change the end time, but I hadn't recorded the end of my sleep yet, so I must have dreamt that.

In my dream me and Yu Lee were at university and living in university accommodation. I was waiting for Yu Lee to do something, but after what felt like a long time I gave up and went back to my room.

It must have been the last day before the holidays because we had packed up all of our stuff and had to go back home. When I got to my building someone told me that the lady in charge of the rooms was in my room and wanted to speak to me.

I went to my room and the lady told me that I had left a tray in my room that wasn't clean. I picked it up and blew all of the crumbs off of it and told her that it was now clean. She said that it wasn't good enough, and I had to use floor cleaner to clean it properly. I told her "I'd recommend telling this to someone who actually gives a shit."

She didn't look too happy! I left the building and went on my way.
