At some point in the dream there is a scene of a prison break. I have no idea of how this relates to the main narrative, and to be honest I may not have actually dreamt this part, but I had a memory of it during the rest of my dream.

The rest of the dream is about me and Yu Lee in a survival situation. There is a large area that is infested with zombies, and we are hiding out in a derelict house. The problem is that we have run out of supplies, and everything that we need is in the zombie infected area. I don't remember actually seeing any zombies, but we knew they were there.

From time to time Yu Lee decides that she needs to run off and get some supplies. One thing that she keeps doing is going to get the password for something, and I'm annoyed because I remember the password, but she just quickly runs off before I can say anything.

Each time that she goes I feel very scared and alone, and I'm really worried for her. I repeat over and over in my head "please come back" the whole time that she is gone.

At some point a little later in the dream, we need to go into the zombie area and get some kind of chord, and bring it back to the house. It's like an electricity cable that we need to plug in to give power to the ruins. Yu Lee returns with the chord, but the problem is that it's connected to something far from the house where the zombies are. I tell her the zombies could easily follow the chord back to us and find us.

I grab hold of the chord and give it a gentle tug. I tell Yu Lee that I can feel by the resistance on it that a zombie is holding onto it and that it's only a matter of time before they find us!

For some reason, Yu Lee decides that we need to cook some peas. She hands me a bag of frozen peas and a saucepan, and then says she's going back into the zombie area to get some water. I tell her that I don't need water to cook the peas but she's gone already.

I turn to the stove, and it is an electric stove with metal heating elements for each ring. Some of the heating elements are missing entirely, and the one I want to use is intact, but the middle section is missing, meaning there is a hole in the centre which is just bigger than the base of the pan.

I'm trying to work out how to cook the peas on the strange, broken hob when Yu Lee appears outside in the distance, looking distressed and running away from something. I look behind her in the distance and sure enough there is a figure running in her direction.

Yu Lee hides behind some rocks, but the figure advances and I can't tell if he's seen her or not. Then more figures appear and there is a group of them. I start to think that they are not moving like zombies, and Yu Lee seems to notice something at the same time. All of a sudden she stands up a beckons for me to come to her.

The group of zombies get closer, and now I can see that they are not zombies at all. I suddenly realise that they are escaped prisoners running away from jail, and I realise that Yu Lee has decided to run away with the prisoners. It looks like we have an escape plan!

At this point I woke up in my bed at 2:00am.

The first part of my dream takes place in some kind of building, like a school or an office. All of the people there are from my school, but we are adults. There are a series of activities that we have to do, each one in a different location, like a different room or outside.

For the first few activities we'd broken up into groups and sat with our friends each time, but on arriving at the last activity the lady in charge told us not to sit in the same groups each time, so we all sat together in one big group. I don't remember anything about the actual activities we were doing though.

The second part of my dream takes place at Mike's house.

We arrive outside his house, and the first task is to get inside. As I come up to the front door, there is a weird tiled staircase / ramp leading up to his front door. The trouble is that the steps start at about chest height, and everything below chest height is a tiled slope with a very steep gradient, probably around 65 degrees! The tiles are polished and very smooth, and I'm not sure that I'll be able to climb them.

In my dream, I can remember doing this as a kid. I would put my foot on the tiled slope and launch myself up it, and the treads on my shoes would somehow have enough traction for me to push up onto the steps. I remember thinking that although the tiles were smooth and glossy, that my shoes could get some grip on the gaps in between them.

Anyway, back in the current day (in my dream) I look at the weird slope and feel that I don't have the confidence to launch myself up it, so I ask Mike if there is another way up. He points to the space next to the slope, and there is an old looking tiled staircase that reaches half way up to the level of the door, but he tells me they haven't used it in years and that it might not work.

I start to climb the staircase, but in doing so it becomes clear that the concrete underneath the tiles is no longer there, and I slowly begin to sink downwards as the tiles give way under my weight. I pretty much just stand there and sink slowly into the ground, until in the end I'm in a pit which is as deep as I am tall.

I can't remember how I get out of the pit but I remember it is a bit of an ordeal.

After that I compose myself and am feeling nervous for some reason. He gives me something to stand on, and I go back down in the pit, and this time somehow manage to reach his front door.

Upon entering his house I notice how nicely decorated everything is, which isn't exactly the way I remember his house in real life! He tells me to poke my head around the kitchen door and say hello to his dad, so I do this. His dad is sitting in the kitchen and is much younger that in real life. I say "do you remember me?" and he replies "Of course I do, Steve."

We chat for a minute and I go back into the living room, and he calls after me "if you want some crisps I'm afraid you'll have to help yourself."

The other main thing I remember is Mike showing me some music he's composed using Fruity Loops. He shows me his songs and we talk a bit about how he made them. He tells me that he set up a microphone controller so that he can blow into the mic to do pitch bends. I tell him that I used to do a simple version of this with my music, and that as I was only doing dance music, I used to set it to bend the pitch upwards when I blew into the microphone, as upwards pitch bends are commonly used to do fills in dance music. (This is all complete bollocks and I never did this in real life.)

I was sitting with my dad and two other people, probably Yu Lee and Sue. We were out somewhere (in England) having something to eat. I got the feeling that we'd finished eating, and had to go somewhere else for some reason, possibly to see a show. We were going to have another drink before we left.

Me and Dad ordered a pint each and the others didn't order anything. We definitely both had our drinks but then there was a problem with them so Dad ended up tipping them away.

We went to pay the bill but everyone had gone home. We looked on the board and it was 5 minutes after opening, and Dad said something like "That's why they were in such a rush." Dad then went over to the till, opened it and paid the bill, and said "¡Gracias!" as he put the money in the till.

The other thing I vaguely remember was right at the end of the dream and was something about my shoes. Someone said that my shoes were nice, and then started to say "Do you remember when we first met?" and said that it was something to do with my shoes.

I only remember a few bits and pieces from this dream.

In one part of my dream, we were at a house party. I think it was Mike's house (Mike is from my school) because I seem to remember his mum telling me not to turn the heating up. Mike wasn't in the dream however.

I remember that it was the evening and everyone was starting to go to sleep. There were people laying around everywhere, either sleeping or talking quietly, and it was getting really hot so I turned the temperature down on the thermostat.

A while later, the heating was making weird noises. I moved close to an air vent and there was cold air coming out of it. I realised that there were two heating systems in the house, and one of them was heating the air while the other one was cooling it.

I turned off the heating and the noise stopped.

The other bits of the dream that I remember were extremely vague and I don't remember the order of them. The theme of the dream was still a party, but this time it was in a hall instead of someone's house and there were a lot of people there.

At one point, I was walking around with Yu Lee and she realised she hadn't taken her antihistamine. There was a long queue of people queuing up for something, and she walked up and joined the queue near the front. I told her she shouldn't push in, but she said it was ok as she was only getting her antihistamine.

In another part of the dream, I arrived at a table where Yu Lee and her sister were sitting. When I got there Yu Lee said that they'd made a special cake for me, and that it was made out of truffles (the chocolate kind, not the mushroom). I told them that I wasn't going to eat cake on an empty stomach, and that I needed to eat my dinner first, which made them look a bit disappointed.

In the first part of my dream, I had a load of people in the house and I was making miso soup for them. The miso soup came with some bits to put in the soup, but when I cut one of them in half I realised they were actually sweets and decided to leave them out.

I had some shitake mushrooms that I wanted to add to the soup, so I put them on a chopping board and tried to cut them up into thin strips. When I tried to pull them apart I realised that the knife couldn't cut all of the way through them and they were all stuck together and really tough. By this point my soup was bubbling away and I was getting stressed because nothing was working.

In the second part of my dream I was running a race, like a 10k or something. There were loads of us running, and no one was taking it that seriously. For some reason I got told off for talking to people and they made me start again from the beginning.

This time I ran really fast, past all of the people that were taking it easy, and eventually caught up with the more serious racers at the front of the group. As I was near the front I decided to go for it, and in the end I finished in 10th place.

After the race they made the first batch of people who finished sit down on the grass in the order that they finished the race. I looked up and Ray (Yu Lee's brother in law) was 5th. I remember thinking I did pretty well to finish nearly as fast as he did.

I dreamt me and Yu Lee were on a camp site. It wasn't necessarily a camp site with tents: it might have been caravans or some other kind of accommodation. I saw lots of people but never actually saw where we were sleeping.

It was lovely and sunny and we were outside, but then we decided that we needed to go and clean our teeth and use the toilet ready for bed. We split up so that Yu Lee could go to the lady's and I could go to the gent's.

When I go to the toilets, there was a very low and narrow tiled corridor that I had to duck through and walk along bent over to avoid touching the ceiling. When I did get in there I opened my bag to get my toothbrush out I realised that I didn't have the things I needed, but I had Yu Lee's stuff instead. I left the toilet block and went back outside.

At some point, as I walking back through the outside area, I stopped and put my bag on the floor and was rummaging through it. As I was doing so, a woman sitting on the ground near me was talking to her boyfriend, and said something about how "the DVD was not going to make her lucid." Hearing the word "lucid" immediately caught my attention and I looked at her, and she noticed. I said something to her which made it clear that I knew about lucid dreaming.

"He bought me a dirty DVD and thinks that if I watch it it's going to increase my lucidity" she said to me.

I said something like "A dirty DVD's not going to help with your lucid dreaming, it doesn't work like that, does it?"

After that I continued whatever I was doing in my rucksack, and then walked off. As I did so I heard the woman explaining to someone that "a lucid dream is a dream where you know you're dreaming, and you can control it and do whatever you want..."

On my way back to the main part of the camp site I had to walk down a narrow path. There were people all around walking extremely slowly which was frustrating me. I got to a point where there were three Muslim girls wearing burkas in front of me, and they were walking slowly, and spaced out just enough that I couldn't walk between them. There were 2 girls next to and slightly behind them walking along with hula hoops.

I realised that the path was narrowing and this was my only chance to over take, so I tried to run round the lot of them to get past. As I did this, all five of them got annoyed at me and took it as some kind of personal insult, and one of the girls with the hula hoops put her hoop around me to stop me from running away. They all started to have a go at me when the dream faded and I woke up.

I dreamt that I was working somewhere, and I'm not really sure the details about what my job was or what the company was doing, but it seemed to have something to do with technology. It might have had something to do with robotics, and the company had a kind of military feel to it.

One day I came into work and there were some strange people there with lots of crazy technology. It turned out that these guys were from the future and that the company was working with them. I don't remember all of the details, but I do remember talking to one of them and him telling me a bit about his past.

He said that when he first started to play with time travel, the first thing that he did was to use it to manipulate the stock exchange. He worked his way forward through time, predicting what would happen with the stock exchange and using it to make himself rich. Then he worked backwards through time and created the technology he'd bought with him to the present day.

When he explained it in my dream it made a lot more sense. I had a feeling that these men were not very nice people.

I'm at home with Yu Lee and Bob, and I also have a room at Cambridge University. For some reason I need some trainers that I've left at the university halls, so the three of us walk there to get them.

We walk there from my house and it takes us a couple of minutes to get to the university grounds. Once inside the grounds it seems a bit like a medieval town with narrow streets, houses and shops with wooden beams in the front of them and lots of people everywhere. I say that I don't know the way, and Yu Lee says it's easy: "Go all the way to the end, then follow the sign for Mesquite Hall, then turn right about half way down the street."

We walk right to the end, and sure enough there is a big white sign with red letters that says "Mesquite Hall" with an arrow pointing to the right. We turn right and follow the street, and there is a single turn off on the right hand side that cuts in between the buildings. A few steps down this road is the entrance to the halls.

Once inside we go to my room and retrieve the trainers. I decide that I might as well wear them, so I take off my shoes and put the trainers on, and then we realise that the clothes I want to wear are here too so I take them back off again and change my clothes.

Once I've finished getting dressed we leave the university and head for home, but when we're just about to leave the campus I realise I've forgotten something in my room. "Hang on a second guys, I've forgotten my shoes!"

I look down at my feet and realise I've been walking through the streets with bare feet.

I tell the others to go back home and that I will meet them there, and then work my way back to the university room. I didn't remember the way there straight away, but first I saw the sign to "Mesquite Hall", and then the cut through on the right and soon enough I was at the university room.

I put on my socks and shoes, but then I thought that I might as well pick up a few other things. Most of the stuff seemed to have a survival theme, and I remember a pocket knife and snow-shoes being amongst the things I was collecting. Every time I thought of something I'd go to collect it and then leave, but then realise that I'd put something else down or forgotten something else.

It felt like I was in the room for a long time, trying to gather all of my things, and when I left the room I definitely had quite a lot of stuff on me. As soon as I came outside I saw someone who looked very much like Jason Walters from my old work, wearing a suit and approaching people, saying something to them and then walking off. As he got closer I could hear that he was saying something like "Do you want me to punch you in the mouth sir?"

I remember putting my hand in my right pocket and feeling for my knife. Each time he approached someone he would say the same phrase to them, and then wait just long enough for them to feel intimidated and show it on their face, when he'd suddenly smile and move on. I thought if he comes near me I'll stab him.

I watched him come down the road towards me, but then when he got close to me he crossed the road and walked towards the entrance to the halls where my room was and went inside.

Then I woke up.

I don't remember much of this dream, but I was with someone who had some fish tanks in their room. They showed me their favourite tank and it was exactly like a fish tank I used to have.

For some reason I had loads of fish that I didn't want so I offered them to him, and he said "yes" and was excited to have some fish in his tank. I brought the fish through and gave them to him.

I'm not sure how, but later on it seemed that some of the fish were actually rats in a cage. I took one of them out and told him how much I love rats and love handling them. I remember the rat's little tiny hands just like when I had pet rats.

I let the rat under my clothes and noticed a spot of urine on my jeans. I said to him that the trouble with rats is that they pee everywhere, and we noticed some spots on the carpet too.

The last thing I remember was that there was a rat in a little glass tank, and it had done a really horrible poo at one end of the tank, and was trying to get as far away from it as possible in the opposite corner.
