I had a very strange dream about having a giant tent in our garden (like the kind of thing you would have a wedding party or craft fair inside). For some reason we were climbing on the roof and we realised that the next door neighbours had been up there too and strung a washing line to the top of the tent. The wind was blowing so hard and the washing was catching the wind, and this caused the tent poles to bend as if they were about to snap.

I dreamt of being in my mum's house, and she had a problem with her boiler. There was a metal grill under the boiler which had a plastic cover on it, and she'd taken the cover off because it was making a funny 'melted plastic' smell.

I was upstairs and it was getting really hot, so I came down to ask her why the heating was on so high and she told me the boiler was playing up. I looked at the bottom of the boiler and the metal grill was so hot it was glowing and the metal was starting to melt.

I asked why she took the plastic cover off and she said it smelt bad so she was throwing it away. I asked why she didn't turn the boiler off as it was clearly overheating. She said that the plastic cover was a pain and she "couldn't be doing with it", and I told her if she paid attention to the fact that it was melting and turned off the boiler, it could have prevented her house catching fire and saved her life!

She seemed cross with me!

In the night I dreamt about moving house (although the house I was moving from and too were nothing like the houses in real life) and also about programming.

When my alarm went off this morning I jumped out of bed as usual, and it immediately erased the memory of my dreams apart from a couple of key details.

As I was waking up I was dreaming about typing in some python code, specifically I was using a function called 'old_url' which made red links on a web page.

I also remember looking in one of my cupboards, and it was massive, and had a weird table with some ugly statues on it that was here when we'd moved in. We felt we should leave it for the next person who owns the house.

I dreamt that I was in a strange place, possibly an island floating in the sky. There was a race of golden robots that looked kind of like suits of armour, and some of them had been disappearing. They weren't too clever and hadn't noticed the mounds around the island where something had been buried, so I told them to look at the shape of the mound and if it looks roughly the same shape as the robots, dig it up and see what's inside. They opened one up and straight away found one of the missing robots.

I dreamt that I had gone to visit my granddad and my nan had died in my dream, which is exactly the opposite to real life. While we were there we lived out a flashback to some time in the past.

In the flashback my grandparents had just had some work done on their house so that the top floor could rise up like a tower with a giant terrace on the top. We tested it out and made the tower as tall as it could be, and then came back down again but something wasn't right and the house started to disintegrate. We all ran outside as the building started to fall to pieces, and my nan said they would need to call the workmen back in to fix it.

This time I was dreaming about being in an arcade with someone.

I wanted to play a quick game of something before I went home, and as soon as we got there, 3 people were playing table football together. The person I was with went and joined their game and I was really pissed off because it was my idea to come to the arcade and I was left out.

After a while we ended up playing shuffle board, and I went to the bar to get us a beer each, but the bar seemed to have run out of beer! Then my alarm went off and I woke up.

I dreamt that me and Yu Lee were going somewhere far in the car, and Yu Lee was getting fed up of driving. I told her I could drive if she wanted me to because although I haven't passed my test I can drive as long as she is in the car with me.

We stopped at a pub for lunch and I bought a beer without thinking and started to drink it. Yu Lee said something about how I was supposed to be driving afterwards and I said that I'd forgotten. Then we realised that I couldn't drive anyway because I wasn't insured and I'm not allowed to drive on the motorway.

Later I was with someone called Alex that I went to school with (he is Romanian). He had some medicine and asked if I would like to try some. I put one of his pills in my mouth and it tasted sweet. I asked what it was and he said it was a painkiller, so I said I didn't want it and spat it out.

There was a piece missing where I had nibbled a corner of it off, and the tip of my tongue went numb where it had touched the inside of the pill. He took it off of me and ate it.

I was with Yu Lee and my Dad in either the sea or a swimming pool. Someone had died and we were floating them in the water as a kind of funeral. I pulled out their neck tie and placed it on them and Yu Lee said it was a good idea. My dad cupped his hands with his thumbs together in the middle and started to sing a silly song.

I had a strange dream about being in Spain with my Dad. Lucía's house was also in Spain (she is Spanish I suppose) and I remember that her daughter was talking to me and was sad that I was moving, which is strange because this is a recurring dream and she never actually speaks to me in real life.

I also dreamt that my Dad ran out of wine, and if we took wine bottles full of grape juice to the bar they would turn it into wine for us.

I don't remember much about the dream but it was definitely very strange. All I remember is that on 2 occasions I was complementing / flirting with a very attractive brunette with long wavy hair.
