I came downstairs in the morning, and the lights were still off in my aquarium, but there was just enough light from the room to see inside. All of the plants seemed to have died and been taken over by a new plant. I could see movement in the tank, and the new plant looked very much like a venus fly trap, except it was highly mobile and kept opening and closing.

I looked closer at the tank and then realised that the plant must have eaten all of my snails!

I felt very frustrated that a weed had taken over my tank and ruined everything, and when Yu Lee came down stairs I showed her too. The carnivorous plant was creepy and I was disgusted by it, and didn't know what to do with the tank.

I don't remember any details of this dream, but I was taking part in some kind of reality TV show, and Lauryn was there. At one point we definitely kissed.

After a while, I realised that I had to choose between her and Yu Lee, so I chose Yu Lee and decided to keep my distance from Lauryn.

I dreamt that we had a huge garden, like the kind you would expect to be behind a huge stately home. Down the centre of the garden was a lawn, and the lawn was surrounded by water. The edge of the water was lined with concrete slabs, and there were "walls" dividing up the ponds that came up to the same height as the concrete slabs at the water's edge.

I came home one day and went out into my garden and looked around. All of the plants that were at the edge of the ponds or growing out of them were doing really well, and were a deep, lush shade of green, but the water itself was so full of algae that you couldn't see through it any more and it almost looked like a lawn.

I walked up to the water's edge, and then stepped out onto one of the "walls" of slabs that were dividing the water. I walked along it and it branched several times, and a few minutes later I was in the middle of the pond on a platform one paving slab thick.

Yu Lee came home and joined me, also working her way towards me over the slabs.

When she got close to me we talked for a while. I was saying how lovely the plants looked, but that we had to do something about the algae in the water. As I was talking I was wandering around, and several times I nearly stepped off of the platform I was on, forgetting that the green all around me wasn't grass but was water.

After a while we decided to head back towards the house, and started working our way back along the platforms. After a few minutes we realised that there was no obvious way back, and that all of the platforms ended in the middle of the pond.

We stood on one of the platforms for a while, trying to work out how to get back, when all of a sudden a moving slab of concrete came into view. It had 4 bolt holes on the top where it was obviously screwed into something under the water's surface, and whatever it was screwed into seemed to be running along a track underneath the water's surface, and went back an forth from the middle of the pond to the edge closest to the garden.

When the platform came near to us, Yu Lee and I both stepped on it, and as we did so it began to slowly sink. In a second it was below the surface and we were in water up to our ankles.

We quickly stepped back off of the platform and decided that next time it came close to us, one of us would step on it and see if it would hold our weight.

This is the last thing I remember.

Yu Lee was making a mod for the game Terraria. Normally, when you play Terraria, there is a bar at the top left of the screen where you can add 10 different things from your inventory, so that when you click the buttons or press the corresponding keyboard keys, you equip that particular item.

In Yu Lee's mod she was adding a magic system to the game, so the first 6 buttons on the bar did magic spells instead of being assignable to inventory items. The first 3 spells that she added we different types of projectile spells that fired out blasts of energy with different strengths, speeds and ranged. The last 3 spells were utility spells that did things like letting you teleport a short distance or create a shield to defend against enemy fire.

I tested her version of the game, but I found it annoying that the first six slots were always assigned to the spells, so that even if I didn't have any power left for a specific spell it was still taking up a slot on the button bar. I told Yu Lee that it was really annoying only being able to equip 4 normal inventory items instead of the usual 10, and that I kept having to reassign things from the menu, but she was interested in my feedback and thought I was just trying to criticize her.

I dreamt that we were back at 35 York Avenue (for the second time this morning) and we were in the workshop at the bottom of the garden. The place was a mess and me and Yu Lee were tidying it up. The weird thing was that my bed was also in the workshop, so I guess we were living there.

When I was making the bed I noticed that there were some lumpy bits underneath the sheet so I lifted a section of the sheet up and looked inside. Underneath the sheet were hundreds of beetles, and they were pretty large, about 2cm long. The beetles scurried away when they saw the light and hid at the other end of the bed.

The main thing I remember thinking is that it was weird that I'd never noticed them before. I'd been sleeping on the bed and had never once felt the lumps or movement underneath the sheet.

At that moment someone called on of us (I don't remember who) on the phone and we had to go round the corner to the hair salon where Shaolin was going to cut our hair. We all left what we were doing and headed there together.

I don't remember exactly who was there but there were 5 or 6 of us. At least 2 other people were already there, waiting to get their hair cut, and so I was basically 8th in line to get my hair cut. I waited for a few minutes and then got really annoyed at having to waste so much time. I told the others to call me when I was next as it would only take a couple of minutes to get there.

I went back home to try and sort out my bed and finish tidying up. I don't remember anything else that happened.

In this dream we were at my mum's house at 35 York Avenue, except the house belonged to me and Yu Lee. We wanted to redo our kitchen so we'd hired a kitchen designer to come to the house for a consultation.

The kitchen designer was a lady in her mid-thirties with dark brown hair in a ponytail. When she arrived at the house we were doing something, so we asked her to wait in the hallway for a minute while we finished what we were doing in the front room. We got so distracted with what we were doing that we forgot all about the kitchen designer, and by the time we'd remembered 2 whole hours had passed.

I went into the hallway to see if she was still there, and she was laying on the floor sleeping. I called out to her a few times but she was sleeping really deeply, and in the end I had to shake her gently to wake her up. When she woke up she was a bit confused and embarrassed, and couldn't believe that she'd slept for 2 hours.

We all walked through into the kitchen, and at that moment something else happened in the front room again. We told her we'd be right back and left her in the kitchen to take care of whatever was happening. Once again we got distracted and ended up spending a lot of time in the front room, and when we got back another 2 hours had passed and the designer was asleep on the kitchen floor.

I woke her up again and told her that she must not be getting enough sleep. We started the consultation and the first thing that we said is that we really wanted a big range cooker. The lady told us that they only have 2 different types of built in oven, and we said that if that was the case then we weren't interested.

The lady looked annoyed at having spent over 4 hours at our house for no reason. She said something about having to work late because she had several other houses to visit.

I dreamt that I was in an apartment or an upstairs bedroom, and the building had a feeling of being in student accommodation. The window was open, and all of a sudden a small bird flew in through the window and started attacking me. Yu Lee helped me to get the bird off and I threw it back out of the window.

A few minutes later I was attacked again. This time the bird hit me quite hard and really hurt me. I was flailing my arms around trying to get it off of me, and after struggling for a few minutes I managed to throw it back out of the window again. When I looked up at it I realised it was a different bird, and this one looked like a pheasant.

I looked out of the window and noticed something on the outside windowsill: it was a crude nest with a notebook in it. I leaned out of the window and grabbed the notebook and pushed the bits of nest off over the edge. I was sure that after doing this the birds wouldn't return.

I can't remember what was written on the notebook any more.

I dreamt that a female dream character had a pet lamb. It was really small, about the size of a rabbit, and has quite long ears. It was definitely a lamb as it was covered in wool.

The dream character was walking her pet lamb and had it on a lead. She also had a white piece of cloth over the front of the lamb's face so that it couldn't look straight ahead. She said that it behaved better with this piece of clothe than without it.

The lamb was very energetic and was constantly running around and pulling on the lead, but was not very strong so it wasn't very difficult to control it. It was also quite affectionate and enjoyed being stroked.

I am upstairs in my bedroom, but it is not my current house. I'm pretty sure my mum is with me and we are looking out of the window.

In the distance we see a red kite swoop down at something, but then it flies back off out of site. We are talking about the red kite when all of a sudden it appears again.

This time a bird is flying past the window, less than a metre away from it, when all of a sudden the kite swoops down and grabs it in its claws. It then pecks at the bird and starts to eat it. I'm pretty sure it was hovering outside the window for a while when it was doing doing this, although I realise that's probably impossible.

Me and Mum look at each other and are both excited to have seen a kite taking another bird from so close.

There's an extension underneath the window, and the next thing we see is a cat walking along the extension towards the window. There's something wrong with the cat though, and it looks sick. It has clumps of fir missing and it's face is all messed up and weeping with puss. The cat walks into the window a couple of times and leaves loose hairs and puss all over the window before staggering off.

The next thing I remember is it being a while later and I'm walking somewhere. I walk over a bridge and suddenly I see Lauryn's dad walking in the opposite direction, and he sees me and comes over to say hello. We talk for a while and I tell him about the cat at the window, and ask his advice about how I can persuade the cat not to come near my window. He basically tells me the easiest way would be to shoot it with an air rifle, but that it might kill the cat so I might not want to do that.

I ask him how Lauryn is and he says that she's in some kind of trouble and that she needs me, and that I should go and find her. He never says exactly what's wrong but I get the feeling it is something to do with her living situation, more like she's not happy rather than being in any kind of danger.

A while later I find Lauryn in the street. She's wearing a fancy dress and looks stunning. I talk to her for a while and she gives me an awkward hug. She tells me that she's going to a party and that it's good to see me, and says we should meet up again and talk.

I don't remember much of this dream, but me and Yu Lee were in the car and Yu Lee was driving us somewhere. When we got to our destination it was difficult to find a place to park but eventually Yu Lee spotted somewhere.

She pulled over onto the "space" which was a paved area right next to a pond. The surface was paved in small, dark concrete tiles and was inclined gently towards the edge of the water, and was just about wide enough to fit the car on.

As soon as Yu Lee had pulled onto the space the car started to slide sideways, and in a couple of seconds the car was in the water, sinking towards the bottom of the surprisingly deep pond. We managed to get out and swim for the surface and I was telling Yu Lee how stupid she was for thinking that was actually a space.
