Last night I drunk half a bottle of wine and went to bed at about 11:30pm. I fell asleep very quickly, but for some reason I kept waking up in the night, although I was able to get back to sleep again quickly each time.

I think I woke up around 1:30am, 3:00am and the just before 5:00am. The last time I woke up was just a few minutes before my alarm went off so I was awake already when it went off, but I still went back to sleep for a little while before getting up.

For some reason I have woken up with back ache.

Today it took me quite a while to fall asleep again at lunch time. I have no idea why: I felt quite relaxed and was tired before I came home. It wasn't frustrating, but it would be better if I fell asleep quicker.

When I did fall asleep I drifted into a nice deep, dream filled sleep. I don't remember my dream now, but I do remember thinking "I need to go back to work soon - I need to wake up and check if it's time to go already". This is a bit silly as I woke up 10 minutes before my alarm!
