Last night I was worried that I would have problems sleeping after such a long nap, and even when I got into my bed I wasn't sure if I would sleep or not, but as soon as I settled down I drifted off pretty quickly.

When I was in bed and talking to Yu Lee I actually noticed the low frequency noise that used to keep me awake at nights. For some reason I always seem to hear it when the weather is cold. I thought it was going to bother me and that I would have to turn on my noise machine but in the end it wasn't an issue.

I woke up once in the night but I don't remember what the time was and I got back to sleep again straight away. The next thing I knew it was 4:30am and my alarm was going off.

This nap was not entirely satisfying!

Today at work I started to feel sleepy around midday, and by 1:00pm I was feeling very sleepy (although a pint in the pub and a massive burger probably had something to do with it!). Between 1:00 and 2:00 I felt like I could have fallen asleep in seconds if I went for my nap then, but after that I perked up a bit and by home time I wasn't feeling that tired.

When I went home I went through the usual routine and went to bed, and I did sleep but it wasn't the kind of deep refreshing sleep that I am used to. It took me a little while (maybe 10 minutes) to fall asleep, and I felt that it was a very light sleep and I drifted in and out a few times.

After I logged the end of my sleep I laid in bed for 10 minutes until Yu Lee came home, and then she came into the bedroom so we ended up laying in bed until 6:30 when I finally dragged myself out of bed and made a lovely cup of tea.

I intended to go to bed at about 11:00pm last night, but in the end I got distracted and ended up settling down to sleep at 11:45. By the time I did try to go to sleep I managed to fall asleep pretty quickly.

My sleep was uneventful and I woke up at 4:30am with my alarm. I should have probably set it back to 5:00 because I went to bed later than usual and now I feel a bit tired.
