Sleep 1

22:40 to 04:01

(5:21 hours)

Last night I was feeling pretty tired by bed time and I fell asleep very quickly. I slept through solidly for the first 3.5 hours of the night at initially woke up at 2:00am.

I thought about whether or not to get up at this time and decided it was probably not a good idea! I dozed for a while and eventually got back to sleep again and woke up naturally again at 4:00am. As I've said a hundred times before, dozing like this in the middle of the night was very relaxing and comfortable and time didn't drag on at all.

Sleep 2

16:14 to 18:10

(1:55 hours)

Today I felt really sleepy at work. I have obviously gotten very used to sleeping at midday because between 12:00 and 1:00 I felt extremely drowsy.

When I got home I cam straight to bed and put in my ear plugs and turned on my new noise machine. I think it took me about 10 minutes to fall asleep, and I woke up naturally at 6:00pm. I remember looking at the clock and thinking that it felt like I'd been asleep a long time, but I must have only been asleep for 45 minutes so I went back to sleep. Ten minutes later Yu Lee came in to wake me up and I realised that I'd actually been asleep for an hour and 45 minutes!

That felt like a long nap and I really needed it. Let's hope I can sleep easily tonight...

Note: Today was the second time I used my new Dohm noise machine. I put it on yesterday for my nap but tured it off after a while, but today I had it on throughout my nap.

Sleep 3

23:17 to 04:29

(5:12 hours)

Last night I was worried that I would have problems sleeping after such a long nap, and even when I got into my bed I wasn't sure if I would sleep or not, but as soon as I settled down I drifted off pretty quickly.

When I was in bed and talking to Yu Lee I actually noticed the low frequency noise that used to keep me awake at nights. For some reason I always seem to hear it when the weather is cold. I thought it was going to bother me and that I would have to turn on my noise machine but in the end it wasn't an issue.

I woke up once in the night but I don't remember what the time was and I got back to sleep again straight away. The next thing I knew it was 4:30am and my alarm was going off.
