Last night I went out for a language exchange and I felt tired, but I still managed to do ok with my Spanish. I think I have been going to bed a little bit too late each day, as although I have been in bed by 1:00am most nights, I have not fallen asleep immediately. I also only slept for 1 hour for my nap yesterday which may have contributed to my tiredness.
This morning when I woke up I still felt really sleepy, so I simply switched the alarm off and went back to sleep. I woke up 2 hours later at 7:30, and felt like I had been asleep for ages! It felt like when I used to sleep in until noon on my old sleeping pattern: I was thirsty (and I hadn't had any alcohol the previous night), drowsy and I had a headache.

Considering the fact that I had a good 7 hours of sleep the previous night, I wasn't sure that I would feel tired for this nap.
We were out looking at bathroom stuff in homebase at about 3:00 and I suddenly felt like I could just lay down there and sleep. When I got home I sat at the computer for 20 minutes and then went to bed, and I drifted off to sleep straight away. I woke up naturally 2 hours later and to be honest I wasn't even sure if I'd been to sleep until I looked at the clock!
I felt better afterwards though, and tonight I will go to bed around 12:30am.
