Last night I fell asleep quickly, and slept through the night until 7:00am when I woke up briefly. I then fell back to sleep and woke up at 7:20am.

When I went for my nap today, I picked up my earplugs and then said to myself "You don't want to be dependent on these," and decided to nap without them.

I fell asleep, and about 10 minutes later the pedestrian crossing outside my bedroom window woke me up. The noise it makes is like an alarm and always wakes me up with just enough adrenaline that I won't be able to sleep, so I got up.

I started to feel really sleepy again, but I'd drunken quite a lot of tea, as I thought I wouldn't be able to nap again.

I laid down in the back room on the sofa, and it took me a while to fall asleep, but when I got up I knew I hadn't been laying there awake for an hour so I must have slept. I think I slept for about half an hour.

Afterwards I felt human again so it was well worth it!
