Despite going to bed so early last night, and not feeling like I was going to sleep easily, in the end I actually fell asleep straight away. I slept like a log until 4:30am when I woke up, looked at the clock and went back to sleep, and then I got up easily when my alarm went off at 5:00am.

Today I wasn't 100% sure I'd fall asleep for my nap, but then when I got into bed I drifted off pretty quickly. After being asleep for about 10 minutes though, a car stopped outside my house with an extremely loud stereo which woke me up.
I'm sure I was properly asleep because I remember suddenly being aware of the music. I didn't hear the car pull up, but it suddenly faded in as I woke up.
As soon as I woke up I knew I wouldn't go back to sleep, but it was lovely and warm in my bed so it still took me half an hour to be bothered to get out. If I wake up in the first 15 - 20 minutes I never fall back to sleep.

Last night I was pretty tired after not having a proper nap and fell asleep quickly. I slept solidly through the night and woke up to my alarm as normal.
