This morning I am off to Spain so I needed to be at the airport at 6:30am. Normally I would have had to have gotten up really early but now that I'm getting up at 4:30am I can just get up at the normal time to go to the airport.
Last night I could have easily stayed up later, but as I had to be up early this morning I went to bed at 11pm so that I wouldn't be tired. I slept through solidly until my alarm at 4:30 and as she was taking me to the airport Yu Lee also got up with me.

Today I arrived in Spain around lunch time and after a short while it was already time to go to the pub where we had a few beers. When we got back it was 5:20 local time and I put the shutters down in the bedroom (one of the great things about Spanish houses is that they have shutters that block out most of the light) and went for my nap. My dad had the TV on so I put in my earplugs and fell asleep in minutes, and woke up more than 2 hours later when my dad knocked on the door to wake me up.
This was an amazing nap!

Last night I went to bed around 12:30am (Spanish time) and fell asleep within a couple of minutes. I woke up a couple of hours later and took out my ear plugs but then my dad started cleaning up the plates from dinner which was quite loud in my room so I put my earplugs back in again and went back to sleep.
After that I woke up again around 4:00am and took my earplugs out again and felt that I could have easily have gotten up but I went back to sleep again and woke up with my alarm at 5:30am. I logged the end of my sleep and then laid in bed for a while and to be honest I probably dozed off for a few minutes. In the end I got up around 5:45am.
