Last night I was pretty tired by the time bed time came around, and I fell asleep instantly. This morning I found it very hard to get up and I dozed off for about 20 minutes after the alarm.

I didn't sleep at all
Now I am getting very frustrated. I was feeling really drowsy from about 12:30 until nap time. When nap time came, I laid down in my bed and felt more and more sleepy until I started to drift off. Then all of a sudden I woke up about 2 minutes later.
I think I cam having problems sleeping for my nap because I drift off, and then wake up really hot because Yu Lee insists on having a really thick duvet on the bed. Once I have woken up I will not sleep again. This means I temporarily lose my tiredness, but get none of the benefits of sleeping - in an hour or two I will begin to feel sleepy again and if I can't get a nap at some point I will want to go to bed at 9:00pm which is ridiculous.
The worst thing is that Yu Lee is always sound asleep even though she didn't feel tired to start with.

Ok sleep, you thought you'd beaten me but it looks like I won in the end!
After not being able to fall asleep even though I felt tired, I got up and found a new secret weapon - I watched the first half an hour of a university lecture on sociology and that's enough to put anyone to sleep!
On a more serious note, I obviously was tired because I slept for a solid 2 hours, and I think it only took me a couple of minutes to drift off the second time. I woke up 1 minute before my alarm went off and now I am so glad that I went back to bed.
