Last night I was tired so we went to bed a little earlier than usual. At first I was quite comfortable in the bed, but after a while it seemed like all of the snot and phlegm in my body started to shift and I began coughing and needing to blow my nose every few minutes. The worst part was that there was only a small amount of mucus, but it was thick and impossible to blow out of my nose / swallow, so I kept having to spit it into a tissue and put it in the bin.

After a couple of hours of laying in bed I finally managed to fall asleep. I woke up to my alarm at 6:15am (I'd set it earlier thinking I was going to bed earlier) but I immediately turned it off and set another alarm for half an hour later and went back to sleep.

The second alarm went off at 6:45am but it took me 5 minutes to realise that it was going off.
