After all of the sleep I had yesterday I didn't go to bed until nearly midnight and it took me about 20 minutes to fall asleep. Once I was asleep I slept solidly until my alarm this morning.

Today I slept on the sofa again for my nap. I fell asleep relatively quickly and woke up naturally about 5 minutes before my alarm was due to go off. It was much easier to get up but the quality of my sleep was much worse, and someone even commented that I looked tired when I got back to the office.
I think I will go back to napping in my bed in future.

Last night we watched Monty Python and the Holy Grail, and by the end of the film I was starting to feel sleepy.
When we got into bed I woke up a little and I was still awake after 10 minutes. I thought to myself "if I'm still awake in 5 minutes I will reset the sleep timer" and that's the last thing I remember!
I slept solidly and woke up to my alarm as usual.
