Sleep Log

Monday 16 June 2014 23:51 to 05:31

(5:39 hours)

I was just nodding off last night when I heard a phone vibrating and it woke me up. It only took me a couple of seconds to drift off again, but this time the phone made a noise which snapped me back out of it. I looked at the clock and it was 12:05am so only 15 minutes had passed.

After that it took me another 10 minutes or so to fall properly asleep.

Once I was asleep, I don't remember waking until 5:30am this morning.

Wedding

I dreamt that it was mine and Yu Lee's wedding day. I don't remember all of the details of the dream, but I remember a vague outline of the plot.

The main thing that I remember is that the whole thing was a bit of a mess! While we were on our way to the ceremony, we realised that we hadn't even finished giving all of the specifications to the venue or the registry office. There were a list of things that the registry office told us we need decide on, like the different options for readings and having our own vows, and even the music.

We had a lot of guests at the wedding, unlike what we are planning in real life. There must have been at least 200 people there, and we were outside. We were having some kind of reception first, and then the ceremony was due to start.

When it was time for the ceremony, we asked one of the guests to gather everyone round the spot where the ceremony would take place. As we were standing there waiting we went over the list of all of the things that we hadn't decided on yet, like the music, and we couldn't work out what they were going to do. It felt like the whole thing wasn't ready.

Our guests were taking ages to come over, and for some reason we didn't want to move from the spot because we were in position. I started waving frantically at one of the guests to try and draw attention to the fact that we were waiting, and eventually everyone started to slowly gather round.

I don't remember what happened next, but I remember thinking the whole thing was a farce!
