Last night I was pretty tired by bed time, and when I went to bed I fell asleep very quickly (in about 5 minutes). I slept solidly through the night until my alarm went off at 4:30am.
As soon as my alarm went off I realised there was no way I was getting up so I went back to sleep and then woke up an hour later. I dozed for about 10 minutes before getting up.

I came home at lunchtime for a nap today, and fell asleep easily in about 10 minutes. I woke up naturally at about 2:05pm and thought it was time to go back to work, but after a couple of minutes of intense thought (I was half asleep) I realised that I had woken up half an hour early. I went back to sleep and managed to sleep for another 20 minutes or so before waking up again, 10 minutes before my alarm.
Not the most refreshing nap in the world but not too bad either.

Last night I went out for a language exchange and had a some beers. This time I only had one and a half pints.
I went to bed at 11:00pm and chatted in bed with Yu Lee for about 10 minutes. When I settled down to sleep I fell asleep straight away and woke up from my alarm at 4:30am. I then dozed for 10 minutes before getting up.
I felt slightly tired this morning, but I think that is due to the time of day rather than not getting enough sleep.
