Last night I wasn't really tired at bed time, but I went to bed anyway, and as a result ended up laying there for nearly an hour. I think I was just drifting off after about 30 minutes, but then someone started shouting in the street outside my window (I guess that's when the Golden Hind started chucking people out).

Once asleep I slept through until 5:00am. I was probably awake enough to get up, but I went back to sleep anyway and woke up just before 6:00am. I feel like I had a little too much sleep, and getting up at 5:00am would have been a better option.

I was feeling pretty sleepy when I laid down, but after a while I started to have some unpleasant day-dreams which woke me up a bit and gave me a bit of an adrenaline rush. It took a little while for that to wear off and for me to fall properly asleep.

Once I did fall asleep I had a very pleasant nap! My back is aching a little though, and I'm beginning to wonder if it's the sofa that's doing it.

Last night I was really tired so I went up to bed early. I fell asleep quickly and slept through until 4:00am when I woke up naturally.

I was surprisingly awake at that time, and debated getting up, but after about 10 minutes I drifted back to sleep and then drifted in and out for about an hour. It was actually quite enjoyable!

Birthday Dancing

I only remember this dream very vaguely.

I dreamt that me and Yu Lee went out in the evening to celebrate her birthday. All I remember is eating and having a couple of drinks, and then being so exhausted that I came home and went to bed early. I was so tired that I barely even remembered coming home.

The next day me and Yu Lee were talking, and she was telling me that after I left, everyone realised it was her birthday and kept asking to "dance with the birthday girl." I didn't like the fact that she was dancing with random people and felt jealous.

After a while, I suddenly realised that she was lying to me, and that we'd come home together. I just vaguely remembered arriving at home together, so I told her and she started laughing at me because I believed her that she'd stayed there on her own and danced with people.

I also remember an image from the dream of people dancing to Stairway to Heaven. I remember the dancers were some kind of travellers, and there was a black child with them but the rest of them were white. The music was very clear.
