After my initial 32 minutes in bed which I marked as did not sleep, I finally drifted off, only to sneeze myself awake at 1:30am. In my half asleep state I remember trying frantically to find a tissue to clean up after my nose explosion!
That wasn't the only time I woke up: I think I woke up on at least 2 more times for similar reasons but it wasn't like the horrible broken sleep I'd had the previous night. I still feel like my sleep quality was not as good as usual though, and I think I will need to take my nap early again today to make up for poor sleep quality.
This morning I actually feel a bit better than yesterday, but I am still producing a lot of mucus and now I am sneezing a lot too. I also still have the horrible hot feeling on my eyes and a mild headache from being bunged up, and it is still pretty unpleasant to be staring at the computer screen. Hopefully I am past the worse now.

This nap was a bit of a mess really!
When I first went for my nap I fell asleep very quickly, in about 2 or 3 minutes, but then I woke up very quickly and looked at the time and only about 20 minutes had passed, so I went straight back to sleep. The next time I woke up was 1:15pm and I had slept for a total of 1:35 hours, and I logged my sleep and intended to get up.
Then I'm not sure what happened after that! All I know is that I was still in bed just after 2:00pm, so I adjusted the sleep to end just before 2:00. I didn't sleep for the whole extra time but I was asleep for most of it.
I think I must have actually been really tired to sleep that much without meaning to, and now I have that feeling like I've had a bit too much sleep. On the plus side most of my cold symptoms have really cleared up whilst I've been asleep so I'm sure I will be fine tomorrow.

Last night I slept like a baby!
I didn't think I would be able to sleep so early after having such a long nap, but Yu Lee asked my come to bed with her to tuck her in and I ended up getting into bed and going to sleep. I think it took me about 10 minutes to fall asleep, and I enjoyed being in my bed and not having to sit up and blow my nose every few minutes!
I slept through until 3:00am when I first woke up. I looked at the clock and thought "No I'm not getting up at 3am" and went straight back to sleep. When I next looked at the clock I thought it would be about 20 minutes later or something but it was actually 4:25am and about 5 minutes before my alarm, so I switched off the alarm and got up.
This morning I feel so much better! Not only do I not feel completely bunged up, but I also I had a full night of uninterrupted sleep! The last few days I have felt very drowsy in the mornings but today I feel pretty much back to normal. I still am slightly congested, and I actually have a bit of a sore throat but I'm sure this is from sleeping with my mouth open.
