Last night I had a massive meal in town with one of my friends, and then walked back home and arrived at about 10:30pm. When I got back I drank a bit of water and came to bed at 11:00. It was the first night in ages that Yu Lee went to bed before me.
Because I woke up at 4:30am naturally yesterday, I actually switched my alarm off so that it wouldn't wake Yu Lee up at 5:00. This morning I woke up naturally at 5:05 and realised that I hadn't turned it back on, but it didn't matter because I woke up at the correct time anyway!
Considering I was so uncomfortably full last night, and that I had a glass of wine and some beer, I actually slept well and didn't need any extra sleep.

As it is a weekend I could take my nap a bit earlier than usual. This morning we went to town to finish our Christmas shopping, and after we got back seemed like the perfect time to take a nap.
Yu Lee came with me for my nap and it is the first time we have napped together for ages! I fell asleep easily in a couple of minutes and woke up naturally after an hour and a half. I feel good!

Last night I started to feel a bit tired at about 11:00, so I went straight to bed without Yu Lee. When Yu Lee came in half an hour later I was still awake but only just, but her coming in disturbed me a bit and woke me up, so I think it was at least 11:45 by the time I fell asleep.
Although it took me a while to fall asleep I didn't feel frustrated and enjoyed relaxing in the bed. When my alarm went at 5:00 though, I didn't find it quite so easy to get up but I still managed to do it.
