The good news is it looks like we will get our mortgage after all! We also received a good offer on our house, and another couple came to see it and looked very interested in it. Let's see what happens over the weekend.
After a stressful day I wanted to eat out so me and Yu Lee went into town for some Japanese food and by the time I got home I was pretty tired. I went to bed at 11:00pm and fell asleep very quickly, only to be woken up a couple of hours later to Yu Lee wriggling around in the bed. Her back is very bad at the moment (this normally happens when she is stressed) and she needed to go up and go to the toilet but couldn't get out of bed so I got up and helped her.
I also needed to go so I got up and then I spent a bit of time out of bed with her as she was in a lot of pain and was trying to exercise her back.
After about half an hour awake I went back to bed...

...but by now I had properly woken up so it took me a while to fall back to sleep. Once I did get back to sleep the same thing happened again around 6:00am when Yu Lee was trying to turn over but I was so tired I actually stayed in bed and dozed until just before 7:00am.
This was not a very restful night's sleep! I was in bed for a long time, but lots of my sleep was interrupted and I felt like it was generally poor quality. I actually felt a bit hungover even though I'd only had 2 beers.

I laid down for a minute waiting for Yu Lee to come out of the bathroom, and I think I nodded off for a little while. When she opened the bathroom door it woke me back up again.

Well it looks like my sleeping pattern is messed up!
I went to bed at 11:00pm last night and fell asleep quickly. I was exhausted, and had felt tired all day. As I'd missed my nap yesterday I ended up sleeping for 7.5 hours and now I actually feel pretty horrible.
Tomorrow morning I need to make the effort to get up early again because I really hate the feeling of sleeping for so long and then feeling tired all day.
