Last night I recorded it taking 49 minutes to fall asleep, but it really didn't feel like that. I think it's likely that I was half asleep before I recorded that but it's impossible to be sure. Either wayI was very relaxed and it didn't feel like I was laying there for ages.

Once I did fall asleep I slept through the night and when my alarm went off this morning I was dreaming. I don't remember exactly what I was dreaming about, but I have a feeling it had something to do with boxes!

When I came back for my nap I didn't really feel like I would fall asleep so I got up after a couple of minutes. I relaxed for a while and came back to bed and then fell asleep very quickly.

I woke up from a dream when my alarm went off, and I could remember it at the time but now I've forgotten it already.

I could have slept longer!

Learning Hindi in Spain

I dreamt that I was with a Spanish woman, and half of the time she was my friend Sara and the other half she was Cristina who was my Spanish teacher when I was on my Spanish course in Toledo. For some reason we were meeting up in the evening for a Hindi lesson, so she drove me to the Hindi teacher's house and I had the weirdest language lesson ever!

The first thing my friend said to me when we got there was that Hindi is magic, so you have to do a lot of rituals when you learn it. The teacher was wearing very strange (and very small!) clothes and we had to lay down together in a blanket throughout the lesson. It was quite intimate but not sexual in any way.

When she taught me the pronunciation all of the sounds sounded like English which I know is not right. My friend fell asleep throughout the lesson and woke up at the end just as we were finishing up. The teacher said something to me in Hindi and then pinched me, and my friend said I had to pinch her back. I did it and she shrieked and told me I pinched her too hard.

My friend realised it was late and asked why I didn't wake her up sooner, and then went outside to call her husband. Then I woke up.

Edit: One thing I remember from the lesson is that I asked the teacher how to say 'hello' in Hindi and she told me that there was no word for 'hello'!
