Sleep 1

01:16 to 01:40

(0:24 hours)

I didn't sleep at all

Sleep 2

01:40 to 06:27

(4:46 hours)

Last night I wasn't that tired due to my massive nap in the middle of the day. I ended up watching 4 episodes of Breaking Bad in a row as Yu Lee was out so it was my chance to watch something that she doesn't like.

I went up to bed a bit later and it took me a little while to fall asleep, although not too long considering the amount of sleep I'd had during the day.

I slept through the night and was pretty tired when the alarm went off. Once I'd gotten out of bed I woke up pretty quickly though.

Sleep 3

12:06 to 14:30

(2:24 hours)

I initially set my alarm for 1.5 hours, but I snoozed it once and then turned it off. When I went back to sleep I had a dream which is actually quite unusual for me.

I woke up again at about 2:15pm and drifted in and out for a while. Then I recorded the end of my sleep and laid in bed for half an hour, thinking of all of the things I was supposed to be doing like going through my accounts for the business…

Speaking Italian / Spanish with Dave

This dream was short because I was only asleep for a little while after turning off my alarm.

I dreamt that I was sending something out by email to a mailing list. After I'd sent the email I kept clicking the "get mail" button to see if I received id, so that I would know if it had worked or not.

Once I'd received the email I went into another room and David Erick Ramos was sitting at a desk. (He's a youtuber who posts videos of ocarina music.)

I started to talk to David in Italian, and it was really hard because I had to think about every single word to make sure that I said it correctly. I said something to him like "did you get my email," and he told me that he did, and that he'd been waiting for it so he was constantly clicking his "get mail button" so that he would see it straight away. Then I said "me too" and got excited while I tried to construct another sentence in Italian. What came out of my mouth was: "Ero imprimando el botón de nuevo y de nuevo." The first word, 'ero' means 'I was' in Italian. When I was saying the second word I was trying to figure out how to say 'pressing' but in the end I took the Spanish word for 'print' and messed with the ending. Then the rest of the sentence is Spanish. The sentence kind of says "I was printing the button again and again," but it doesn't really make much sense.

I got frustrated after that and said "Arrgh that was a horrible mix of Spanish and Italian," and David replied "Yeah it was really good, I loved it. I totally understood what you were saying."

I have no idea if he actually speaks Spanish or Italian in real life.
