I didn't sleep at all
This was by far the worst period of not being able to sleep since I started recording my sleeps! It took me 1.5 hours to get to sleep!
I started to feel a little sleepy around 10:00pm, but I stayed up until 10:45pm so that I would stand a better chance of getting to sleep, but when I finally did go to bed I simply couldn't sleep. It was weird though because I felt like I would be able to sleep.
I remember just before midnight I actually drifted off to sleep for a minute or 2 and then had a weird experience and woke up in a brief period of sleep paralysis. The weird thing is that I can't really remember what happened: it's as if my brain has tried really hard to forget it.
After that I got up and went to the toilet and had a drink of water, and eventually I fell asleep. I also set my alarm clock a little bit later, from 4:30am to 4:50am to make up for some of the time I had wasted laying in bed.
EDIT: I was also coughing a lot last night, so maybe this contributed towards my not being able to sleep?
