Today I felt a little bit sleepy this morning, but not enough to stop me getting out of bed on time. I felt sleepy on and off all day but I think this was mainly due to my messed up sleeping pattern yesterday. At lunch time I actually came home because I had nothing better to do and I looked at my bed and thought "if only I could...".
In the afternoon I perked up a little bit, but by the time I came home I was definitely ready to sleep, and when I went for my nap I fell asleep very quickly. As is quite normal for me I woke up again after 30 minutes, but I laid there for another 5 - 10 minutes and drifted back to sleep. When my alarm went off I wasn't sure if it was morning or not!
This nap was just what I needed! Hopefully it won't affect my sleep tonight, but it felt great to sleep in my own bed and have a long, uninterrupted nap and to not need to use ear plugs.
