As you can see, last night was not a good night for me!
I went out in the evening with one of my Spanish friends that I hadn't seen for ages. We went to an Italian restaurant, and I had a pizza, tiramisu and a few beers. Afterwards I felt like I'd had a drink but I wasn't too bad.
When I went to bed I was starting to feel quite tired, but I drank my glass of water by my bed really quickly, so after an hour in bed I decided I'd better get up and go down stairs and get another one.
After that I must have dozed off for a while because the next time I looked at the clock was 2:00am and this time, after laying awake for a while, I decided I needed to go to the bathroom. When I got back it felt like I'd been laying in bed for ages but when I looked at the clock only about 15 minutes had passed.
After this I drifted in and out of sleep repeatedly, and I remember looking at the clock at 2:30am, 3:00am and 3:30am. I had loads of weird dreams, including 2 lucid dreams.
I woke up from my second lucid dream with my heart pounding, and the next thing I remember is morning. Looking back I don't know if I was really awake between those dreams or if I just dreamt of laying awake. Either way I feel a bit rough, and was very hungry when I woke up and had to make breakfast straight away.
All I can think of is that it must have been the coffee in the tiramisu that stopped me from being able to sleep (it did have a strong coffee flavour).

Electrician in the Night
Semi-Lucid Dream (L1)Me and Yu Lee were in the house on our own and had had the electrician in to do some work. It was now the middle of the night and we looked out the window and the electrician was outside doing something, so I said to Yu Lee "this isn't right", became aware that I was dreaming, and woke up.

Semi-Lucid Dream (L1)The second lucid dream of the night involved me thinking back over all of the weird dreams I'd had, but there were pictures on the walls with images of my dreams. Then a man was coming round, entertaining people, and I don't remember exactly what he was doing but it suddenly clicked that it was weird and didn't make any sense, and once again I became lucid and woke up with my heart pounding.
