Sleep 1

...and once I did finally fall asleep, I woke up after 3 hours.

I laid in bed for a while as I didn't really want to get up at 1:30am, but as I laid there I started to feel overwhelmingly hot. When I got up my whole body was really hot and I wouldn't be surprised if I was ill.

I got a glass of water which cooled me off and I am sitting at my mac in the dark. I don't think it will be long before I come back to bed. I hope I am not ill!

I think that has to be about the worst night's sleep I've had since I started sleeping biphasically!

After about an hour awake in the middle of the night I laid down on the floor to test how sleepy I was (I didn't want to disturb Yu Lee going in and out) and I realised I would probably sleep if I went back to bed. When I got back in bed I fell asleep straight away but I think I woke up at 3:30, and then 4:30, so when I woke up again at 5:30 I thought it was definitely time to get up.

I feel like I could go to sleep now. I feel like I could probably sleep forever like that, as the quality of my sleep was so poor that I would probably never stop being tired enough to sleep!

We have recently got our house insulated, and the temperature inside is a little higher than it used to be. I wonder if the new temperature is what was stopping me from sleeping properly...

Sleep 3

I was feeling very sleepy this morning, so I decided to take a nap just after 10am. I was thinking to myself "I can't wait for my nap" when I decided actually I don't have to wait for it and decided to take it early.

This nap felt slightly different to my normal afternoon naps. I woke up after an hour which is really short, and I didn't feel like I'd slept so deeply. I feel a lot better now and it will be interesting to see whether I feel like taking another short nap this afternoon.

I slept a little bit

In don't really know if I slept or not, but it felt like I was laying down for about ten minutes. I felt sleepy before laying down but I probably wasn't that tired - I think it is just that I'm used to going to sleep at that time.

I feel quite refreshed now so it was worth it!

Last night I read in bed for a while before going to sleep. Next door were making some noise so I put in ear plugs which did a great job of blocking them out. When I finally decided to go to sleep I fell asleep really quickly, in a couple of minutes.

This morning I woke up at 3:30am. I laid in bed for a few minutes when I suddenly realised I had an ear plug in my hand, so I must have pulled it out in my sleep! As it was so early I decided to see if I could get back to sleep, so I dozed for about half an hour and eventually decided to get up at 4:00am.
