Last night we went out ice-skating and then had a meal with Max and Sophie. We got back quite early, but I still felt stuffed at bed time. I'd eaten a lot of chicken and thought it might reduce my sleep quality so I set the alarm a little later than usual.

I woke up at around 3:45am and couldn't get back to sleep. I was a bit dehydrated, but apart from that just felt wide awake.

Just after 5:00am I gave up and got up. Although I didn't feel ill, I've had this before and ended up being sick, so I was worried the same would happen again. I went downstairs and browsed the internet for a while.

I fell asleep on the sofa and woke up from a dream (which I no longer remember) to the sound of Yu Lee's alarm going off. I heard her get out of bed and switch it off, so I decided to go upstairs and get into bed. When I got upstairs though I realised the alarm wasn't set to go off for another hour...
I have no idea what happened!

I slept in bed until the alarm went off at 8:30am. I got up and turned it off, and then got back into bed and fell asleep again. I slept through until Yu Lee woke up at 10:10am.
