Last night I was playing Guild Wars 2 with Yu Lee, and her little brother and some other people we know were online so we were all doing stuff together. It was really good fun, and when I logged off at 11:00pm I was still feeling quite excited! We went to bed straight afterwards but we ended up talking in bed for a while to wind down.

Once we finally settled down to sleep I fell asleep in about 5 minutes and slept through solidly until my alarm.

This was not the most satisfying sleep in the world, but I am pretty sure I slept.

Today I went for a beer at lunch time with one of my Spanish friends, so when I got home from work I was feeling sleepy and feeling the after effects of the alcohol. I laid down to sleep, and I remember about 10 minutes later looking at the clock and thinking it hadn't been long enough to justify marking a red section on the chart so I put my sleep mask on and went back to sleep.

The next thing I remember is that it felt like I had been laying there for about another 10 minutes, so I opened my eyes and looked at the clock again, but this time I had been laying in bed for over an hour! I must have been asleep for most of this!

After I marked the end of my sleep I actually laid in bed for another half an hour but this time I was awake. I had a pretty horrible cold (again) so it felt good to get some rest.

Last night I was pretty tired by bed time, partly due to the fact that I had a cold and it was making me feel drowsy.

When I went to bed I fell asleep very quickly, and I slept through solidly until my alarm went off at 5:00am. I actually had a really good sleep and I feel very well rested! Also my cold symptoms are a lot better this morning so hopefully I am past the worst of it already.
