This morning I switched to my other alarm clock: The Sonic Bomb.

I stopped using this alarm because it's more difficult to set, especially if I want to set the alarm time earlier as I you can only add to the time, and have to wait for it to go all the way round when you set it to an earlier time.

But this thing is loud.

This morning when my alarm went off, I got a sudden surge of adrenaline and jumped out of bed to stop the assault on my ears. Even though it's unpleasant, it seems to have worked. Hopefully I won't become immune to this one!

This was my first proper nap in a long time. I fell asleep quickly and woke up to my alarm just over an hour later, then snoozed it for 10 minutes.

It felt great to have a proper nap again!
