I felt pretty sleepy last night, and even laid on the sofa with my eyes closed for a few minutes at one point which perked me back up a bit.
When I went to sleep it took me a little while to fall asleep, but once I was asleep I slept like a log until 6:15am when I woke up briefly. After that I fell back to sleep and woke up at 7:00am.

I went to bed more out of habit than due to being tired. Ten minutes later it was clear that I wasn't going to sleep so I got up again.

Last night I fell asleep quickly, and woke up at exactly 4:00am this morning. I dozed for 15 minutes and then got up.
I think I could have gotten back to sleep if I'd wanted to.
