I didn't feel particularly tired last night when I went to bed, but I still think I fell asleep in about 10 minutes. It was certainly easier to fall asleep last night than it was for my nap.

I slept solidly through the night and woke up naturally about 10 minutes before my alarm was due to go off. I felt like I could have easily fallen asleep again but there was obviously no point if my alarm was going to go off in 10 minutes! Even though I was tired it was still better than waking to the alarm.

When I got home from work I ate 2 slices of Spanish ham and then went for my nap. It took me around 15 minutes to fall asleep, and when I woke up Yu Lee was coming through the door (although I'm not sure if this woke me up or if I woke up before that).

When Yu Lee came in I felt like I could have gone back to sleep. For some reason I feel a bit irritable this evening.

I didn't sleep at all

Last night I was in a bad mood, and I think the reason is probably that I was a bit tired. When it got to around 9:00pm I started to feel sleepy, so I went to bed a little early at 10:00pm to try and catch up on a little sleep.

Yu Lee said she wasn't tired so I went to bed on my own. Then less than 10 minutes later she decided to come to bed. I was just falling asleep at the point when she went to brush her teeth, and the combination of the loud tap in the bathroom and her electric toothbrush woke me right up.

Yu Lee came to bed and fell asleep the second her head hit the pillow, so I guess she was tired! I began to feel really annoyed and I couldn't sleep, so after about 20 minutes I woke her up and we chatted in bed for about half an hour. This really helped to calm me down. Thanks Yu Lee!

Sleep 4

After we finished talking I didn't feel angry any more so I easily fell asleep. As it was a bit later than intended I decided to just turn off my alarm clock and see what happens.

I slept solidly through the night and woke up naturally at 6:00am. I think I was dreaming when I woke up (or soon before waking) but I can't remember anything about the dream. I feel a little bit groggy now but that is usual for me when I sleep more than 6 hours.
