I think this morning I made a bit of a mistake in setting my alarm so early. Splitting my sleep up into multiple chunks would probably result in needing less overall sleep if I were used to it, but as I am not it resulted in me feeling very tired.

After I got up this morning I really struggled to stay awake for the first hour or so but after that I pretty much just watched youtube videos (of TED talks) and then went for a bath. When I got out of the bath I decided it was nap time already, even though it was only 9:15 and went to bed.

I fell asleep in about 5 - 10 minutes and then I drifted off into a nice deep sleep with lots of dreams (although I only remember vague fragments now). I woke up several times, and just after I finally woke up Yu Lee came in and got in bed with me so we laid there for about another 40 minutes.

Now I feel great! Well worth it!
