Today at work I felt slightly drowsy towards the end of work, but not as much as usual. I think this is because I am getting use to either having less total sleep or waking up earlier.
Today for my nap I tested another type of ear plug that I had bought recently, and these ones were more comfortable and definitely worked better for laying on my side as they don't stick out so much. They still weren't perfect though and I have no idea how much sound they would block out.
It took me a while to fall asleep but I'm not sure how long. To be honest I don't even remember falling asleep which probably means that I slept fairly lightly. I only know I slept because 1:24 hours is a long time to lay in bed without sleeping and I didn't feel like I was in bed for such a long time!
I am wide awake now so I definitely got enough sleep.
EDIT: Looking back on this now I think this nap was mostly light sleep as I started to feel tired very early in the evening, and ended up sleeping almost 8 hours total over the course of the day.
