My memory of this dream is a little bit fragmented.

The first part I remember is driving home from my mum's house, and on the way driving past Reading. Yu Lee said that she wanted to go there, so we changed our route and drove into the city centre. As we approached it, we realised that the only way into Reading was to drive over a bridge where you had to pay a toll, so we pulled up in front of the bridge and walked in.

I don't remember much of being there, but we definitely bought some cinema tickets to watch a film in a couple of days' time. After that we drove home.

When we came back a few days later, we stayed in a hotel. The hotel room had two single beds instead of a double, so I slept in one of them and Yu Lee slept in the other.

In the night I woke up and opened my eyes. I could see the ceiling of the hotel room, but everything looked a bit strange, and then I realised that I was dreaming and became lucid.

I hovered up into the air, and was amazed by how realistic the room looked - even in my dream the hotel room looked exactly like the hotel room in real life (which I didn't realise was also in a dream). I looked around for a while, thinking "what should I do now," and was surprised that the dream wasn't fading despite me doing nothing. I tried to fly but it wasn't really working, and instead I just stayed there, hovering about a metre above the floor.

I looked over at Yu Lee sleeping in the other bed, and then I realised that I was actually waking up. All of a sudden I was back in my bed in the hotel room.

I don't remember any more of the dream, and I didn't wake up from it. It was weird how I had a lucid dream inside a dream, and then had a false awakening.
