Last night I went to bed at midnight to try and catch up on a little bit of sleep. I was just drifting off when the 'bassy sound' woke me up again. I'm not sure if it is next door playing music or what, but it is a very low pitch noise that I can hear even with ear plugs, especially when my head is in contact with the pillow. I can't make out a tune, and it is not that loud, but I can almost feel it and it makes it very difficult to sleep.

After half an hour I tried putting ear plugs in, and realised they had no effect and took them back out again.
