I woke up and got back to sleep around 8:30am, then I had the following dream:

For some reason I wanted to break into this building, so I got two really dodgy guys and went inside.

I was at the bottom of a spiral staircase. The walls of the circular tower block were made of concrete and in a very bad state. The staircase was made of iron and was very rusty. Everything had a post-apocalyptic cyber-punk feel to it.

We climbed the staircase and came to a room. One of the blokes was messing around and hooking a crowbar onto the railing of the staircase and swinging on it. I looked around the room and saw a phone / network socket on the wall, and thought it was something to do with a security system, so I kicked it off of the wall.

The next bit happened really quickly.

There was a door going into another room which I kicked down. I ran through the room and jumped head first out of the window. I became lucid and started to fly.

The view was amazing! The building must have been at the edge of the sea because there was sea all around me. In front of me, some way off in the distance, was an island with a large building in the middle. The most amazing thing about it was the amount of detail: it seemed more realistic than real life. It was as if my vision had been switched to widescreen.

This all lasted about ten seconds, and I was thinking the whole time that I must stay in the dream. The visual side of the dream started to fade and I couldn't bring it back. I tried to move my dream body but woke up and moved my real body.
