Today I felt fine all day at work until about 2:00pm when I felt really tired. I had a meeting, and I literally felt like I could have drifted off to sleep right there: My eye lids felt really heavy and kept going out of focus and I was struggling to stay focused.

All of a sudden, at about 2:45 I suddenly got over it and felt much more awake.

I originally went to bed at 4:20pm, and reset the timer twice before falling asleep. The last time I reset the timer, I remember laying down and thinking "This is it - if I don't fall asleep in a few minutes I am giving up".

When the alarm went off I wasn't sure if I had fallen asleep or not until I realised that it was 6:30 and an hour and a half had passed. This felt like a short nap, especially considering it took me 40 minutes to fall asleep.
